Léo really enjoyed his first Thanksgiving with family and friends - so much so, that his first tooth sprouted at the end of the weekend! He loved Peeps' centerpiece turkey, made with a pineapple for the body, turnips for the legs and brussel sprout stalk for the neck...
We took Léo to the Museum of Natural History a couple of weekends ago, and met with our friend Sherry, her husband Ian, and their little bundle in Sherry's belly! Léo talked to the endangered Siberian Tiger.
Last weekend, we went upstate with Josh, Laura and sweet Viva, and poked around lots of little Hudson Valley towns. Viva can now say "baby léo", and gives him the sweetest little kisses. Léo loves his auntie Laura, and can't get enough of airplane action from his papa.
In August, we took a trip with Ethan's family to Wellfleet, where Léo got to have his first experience of the beach. He got to know his grandparents, Leighpa and Peeps, aunt Ruby and uncle John, and two of his sweet cousins, June and Frances. He was just starting to smile.
Léo at 3 weeks... My parents came to meet him when he was born, and stayed with us to see him grow into a sweet 3-week old babe. In the bottom photo, Léo is in his papa's arms, after a warm bath in the kitchen sink.
